Water changes weight during cooking. We do not replace raw rice with cooked rice using the same factor or multiply calories merely because final weight changed. Include oils, sauces and other added ingredients.
Missing values make that nutrient total incomplete. Zero is used only when reported by the source. Energy comes from the source rather than being automatically replaced with a 4/4/9 calculation.
Combinations use a finite portion grid and the limits you provide. They do not assess health history, deficiencies or clinical adequacy. Finding no result does not prove all possible combinations are infeasible.
No. The initial catalogue contains 35 generic USDA SR Legacy foods from the historical 2018-04 release, with US reference data. Translated names identify the same record, without assuming nutritional equivalence to local brands. Unlisted barcodes return no results.
No. The data cannot rule out cross-contact or confirm all allergens. Selecting allergies blocks automatic generation. Vegetarian and vegan classifications are editorial ingredient-identity assessments where supported, not certifications.
We offer only portions with a mass reported in the USDA record. A cup of one food does not weigh the same as a cup of another. USDA measures are labelled as such. We do not convert ml to g without supported density; mass oz and volume fl oz are different units.

Constraints must fit the available preparations and portions. There may be only one or two options, or none. Incompatible required foods, tight limits, missing nutrients and unknown prices can prevent results. The tool does not invent solutions.
You enter actual prices per 100 g in each food's lookup. Budget filtering works only when all ingredient prices are known. Regional prices are not fetched and currencies are not automatically converted.
No. It is an informational tool for adults. Full-day planning has a 1,200–6,000 kcal product guard, not a clinical minimum or maximum requirement. Children, pregnant or breastfeeding people and those with specific health needs require appropriate guidance.
